Crematoriums in Northern Italy cannot handle all dead bodies - sent to other parts of the country

SVT's European correspondent Christoffer Wendick has visited a church in the heavily affected region of Lombardy which keeps the coffins in the meantime, until the coffins are picked up by trucks which then transport them further out in the country.

- Instead of placing them in a magazine, we took them to the church. It's people, not just numbers, says pastor Don Mario Carminati.
