During his visit, he had already announced a multiplication of tests, which will be increased to 29,000 per day, against 5,000 currently, especially for caregivers and in Ephad.

The head of state spent an hour talking with fifteen doctors and hospital staff. "I can see what you are taking as stress, as workload, and you have done a remarkable job," he told them in particular.

"I know the difficulties that preexisted for the hospital and I will draw all the consequences," also said Emmanuel Macron. He also announced that a phone number for caregivers and families would be put in place to provide psychological support.

He finally answered questions about chloroquine, a drug that raises a lot of hope. "I only want one thing, that it works, but I don't know. It has to stay in a medical protocol," he said.
