The Ministries of Human Resources, Emiratization, Health, Community Protection, and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship announced the exemption of expired workers from work permits from their own medical examination with the issuance and renewal of work permits and residencies automatically for establishments and assistance service workers, in the context of precautionary measures and measures taken by the United Arab Emirates in the face of Corona virus emerging "Covid-19".
Under the aforementioned precautionary measure, the concerned labor will not need to review the medical examination centers at the state level, which will be closed temporarily, provided that the prescribed fee is met through the approved payment channels, according to which the worker continues his legitimate residence in the country.
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship emphasized the need for employers to inform the relevant health authorities of any worker suspected of being infected with the Corona virus, and called on all workers in the country to abide by health and precautionary instructions and measures to preserve their safety and the safety of society.
