For his part, a witness from Dubai Police said that a research and investigation team had been formed after receiving theft reports, and the identity of the first defendant was identified, so he was arrested along with three others who got a part of the stolen goods, pointing out that the first accused admitted to coming to the state, with the intention of stealing with The second and third other defendants, who took the lead in the vehicle and directed them to the villas where it was found that the owners were not there, then climbed over its walls.

The accused stated that they used the same method on the day of the incident, as they took advantage of the busyness of the people to celebrate the New Year, jumped over the wall of the villa, and waited outside for observation, while the other two defendants took the door and infiltrated the villa and stole its contents of money and jewelry, indicating that his partners in the crime left the state Immediately upon the execution of the operation, and they left the stolen goods (jewelry and watches) in his possession for disposal, he contacted a person in his country for this purpose, and the latter sent the fourth, fifth and sixth defendants to him in order to receive and smuggle the stolen goods but arrested them.
