Local Yemeni sources said that a military force affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council took control of the twenty camp in the Crater area of Aden, after the forces in it were forced to withdraw, while the General Forum for the Sons and People of Aden demanded Saudi forces to return the camp to Aden's sons before it was too late .

The sources added that the forces stationed in the camp were forced to surrender and withdraw after tension with the leadership of the Transitional Council, and accusations of the withdrawing forces working with Saudi Arabia.

The sources pointed out that military reinforcements reached the entrances of the Crater region, and prevented entry to it, and added that forces led by Osan Al-Anshli, the leader of the UAE-backed forces, entered the camp and took over security duties in the Crater region.

These developments come after clashes that broke out yesterday afternoon between two factions affiliated with the UAE-backed forces in Aden, killing one soldier and wounding two others.

Last November, Saudi Arabia sponsored an agreement between the legitimate government and the Southern Transitional Council, which included the return of the government to Aden, the activation of the Yemeni state authorities, and the reorganization of all forces under the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.

Two months have been set as a time limit for implementation, but most of the terms of the agreement have not yet been implemented, amid mutual accusations.
