On Monday, 50 high school students will pick up their school lunch at S: t Eskils high school in Eskilstuna. The students come from different upper secondary schools, and have reported that they want lunch - even though the teaching is done remotely, and that all students study at home.

- They get to show play when they come to school, and then they can pick up their own hot lunch box, says Lina Sjöberg, who is the diet manager for the primary and secondary school in Eskilstuna.

All high school students in Eskilstuna municipality have been asked if they want to pick up a lunch box, and then they can pick it up at S: t Eskils. All students receive the same dish, except those with a special diet, who will, as usual, get the food they need.

Katrineholm - students order via e-service

In Katrineholm, all high school students can order their lunch box via an e-service. The box must be ordered before 9 am, and the student must decide at which of the municipality's schools they want to collect the box.

Strängnäs's two colleges also organize distance education, and at the European Free School the students are offered to pick up lunch boxes.

- Only one student has actively asked for it, but to catch up with the need, we will now go out with a question, says the school's principal and CEO Thomas Axelsson.

No message yet in Nyköping

Nyköping has not yet decided how to do it.

- We can leave a message next week, but we are looking at it in the long term - how we should do if even the pupils of the elementary schools are sent home, says acting school head Peter Ekedahl.

Next week, that message is expected.

In Flen there is Prince Wilhelm Gymnasium, but on Friday afternoon we could not get any information about how the school solves lunch for its students.

Gnesta, Oxelösund, Trosa and Vingåkers municipalities do not have their own upper secondary schools.
