The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today (22th) that a domestic company recently signed a contract with Romania to supply 20,000 new kits for coronavirus infection and corona19.
The contract was made by the government through overseas diplomatic missions to grasp the overseas demand for domestic production diagnostic kits and to connect with Korean suppliers, he explained.
Korean companies are known to produce only export kits.
Under the agreement, the company will supply Romania with 20,000 diagnostic kits capable of a total of 2 million tests.
We plan to proceed with product shipments in the future.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "The government plans to actively support the export of products related to the production of Korean companies to the extent that it meets domestic demands in order to prevent the spread of Corona19 and respond internationally."
