Strasbourg announced Saturday the extension of one year the contract of its trainer Thierry Laurey, who will be at the head of Racing until June 2021.
"The Strasbourg Alsace Racing Club and Thierry Laurey have agreed to an extension of the club's coach contract until June 2021," announced the Alsatian club, which occupies 11th place in Ligue 1.
The 56-year-old technician, known for his outspokenness, has been at the head of Racing since 2016. Under his rule, Strasbourg was promoted to Ligue 1 and won the League Cup last season.
