It is in recent days that Peter Örbo has noticed that several customers have come in and wanted tips on good fabrics to make mouth protection off.

- There have been enough people to react. The difficult thing is that we cannot recommend anything. I can't say that one would be better than the other, or that it would help at all, he says.

The elderly are not visible

But customers do not give in to it, he says.

- They walk around the store and find something that they themselves experience corresponds to the materials that real mouthguards are made of and then they buy fabric to make mouthguards for themselves or their family.

At the same time as the new customer group has emerged they notice a marked decline compared to those who normally visit the store.

- Our customers are often older and they stay home. In the square here in Laxå there is hardly anyone out.

"It feels uncomfortable"

He experiences the new demand as both comical and tragic at the same time, and he finds that the virus center is clearly visible even in a smaller town like Laxå.

- I could never have dreamed that it would be like this, that we would notice the unease in a fabric store. There is a massive worry and it feels uncomfortable, says Peter Örbo.
