In the past months of January and February, US intelligence agencies had drafted a series of classified reports to warn President Donald Trump of the danger posed by the coronavirus worldwide.

The Washington Post wrote it today, citing US officials aware of the files and recalling that in the same period Trump and some US deputies continued to minimize the risks posed by Covid-19. In none of these reports, according to what is read, did the alleged beginning of the epidemic also indicate in the USA, nor were special health measures recommended for the containment of the infection.

The 007 Americans, rather, had traced the spread of coronavirus in China and other countries in the world, and reminded the recipients of the reports - in particular President Trump - that the Beijing leadership was reducing the severity of the danger and the extent of the epidemic.
