Proposal Letter to All Overseas Chinese in Japan

Since March, the new crown virus epidemic has appeared in about 100 countries and regions in the world, and the number of infections has continued to increase. Especially after the epidemic situation in China was basically controlled and the number of infections dropped significantly, the epidemic situation in South Korea, Japan, Italy, Iran, France, Spain, Germany, the United States and other countries has shown a relatively obvious spread. As a sudden public health event in the international community, the new crown virus epidemic requires all members of the international community to work together to respond. In the face of the epidemic, human destiny is linked.

The All-Japan Overseas Chinese Association calls on all overseas Chinese in Japan, as members of Japanese society, to take an active role and start with themselves, working together with the Japanese people to prevent and control the spread of the new crown virus epidemic.

I hope that the majority of overseas Chinese should consciously abide by local epidemic prevention laws and regulations, actively cooperate with local epidemic prevention and control measures, actively participate in local public welfare undertakings to combat the epidemic, actively help local overseas Chinese and the public, do not listen to rumors, and do not participate in disrupting social order. Activities to establish and maintain a good image of overseas Chinese in Japan. All overseas Chinese delegations should pay attention to the official information of Chinese embassies and consulates. In the event of an emergency, they should promptly seek help from the relevant departments of the local government and contact the Chinese embassy in Japan.

2. It is hoped that the majority of overseas Chinese will take necessary precautions, strengthen self-protection, minimize unnecessary travels, avoid going to crowded places, and refrain from holding or participating in group activities. Pay attention to food hygiene and safety, and maintain a hygienic environment for living and working spaces. If there are suspected symptoms, seek medical treatment in a timely manner, and report the situation to the overseas Chinese mission, embassy or consulate in a timely manner. We must consciously abide by the Japanese government's requirements for 14-day quarantine observation after entry.

3. After the domestic epidemic situation is basically under control, it is under pressure to import re-transmission. It is hoped that the majority of overseas Chinese must consider travel risks and the country's prevention and control pressure to minimize unnecessary movement. If you have a return plan in the near future, please report the relevant information in advance through the interface of the health information pre-declaration platform of overseas overseas Chinese in each province. Please implement safety protection measures throughout the process. After returning to the country, please follow relevant domestic protection measures to maintain the health and safety of yourself and others. Please also understand and cooperate with domestic time-based prevention and control measures to jointly do a good job of personal and community prevention and control. If you have suspected symptoms such as fever and cough, please report to the local health department or the local community as soon as possible, so that early detection, early reporting, early isolation, and early treatment can be achieved.

Spring breeze, everything is new! During this extraordinary period, our overseas Chinese and Japanese in Japan must work with the Japanese people to help each other, connect hands and hearts, and work together to prevent and control them.

The fellow citizens must not be far away. It is joyful to see the cherry blossom romantic day, and when you look forward to the Olympics in full bloom!

I wish you all the happiness and well-being of overseas Chinese! (Qiao Ju)
