The state had warned, it would become more severe regarding compliance with containment measures. With the exception of certain reasons, travel is indeed strictly prohibited. And the authorized journeys must be systematically justified by an employer certificate or the individual derogatory certificate. To enforce these provisions, controls intensified Thursday in Loire-Atlantique. No less than 3,000 checks were carried out by the police and 3,300 by the gendarmes, announced the prefect Claude d'Harcourt.

Assessment: 304 fines distributed for infringements. At a rate of 135 euros the ticket, this still represents a total of 41,000 euros in a single day. Only 18 fines had been imposed the day before in the same territory.

The controls continue this Friday, in a "random" manner. As a reminder, in order to dissuade offending walkers, the Loire-Atlantique prefecture on Thursday prohibited access to the entire seafront, whether natural (beaches, dunes, etc.) or asphalted (ports, embankments, etc.) .
