The French ambassador in Cairo warned of the deterioration of the situation in Egypt soon and demanded the need to prepare from now, while the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced on Thursday that the number of people infected with Corona virus increased to 256, with one death recorded.

The French ambassador said in a video broadcast on Twitter that Egypt will be isolated from the rest of the world like many countries in this ordeal, warning that the situation will be very difficult in the coming weeks.

The French ambassador called on the Egyptian authorities to prepare from now for this circumstance.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health revealed, on its Twitter site, on Thursday, that 46 new cases had been registered, bringing the total number of injuries to 256, adding that the number of deaths reached seven after the death of one of the injured.

Ministry spokesman Khaled Mujahid said that the new cases include 4 foreigners coming from abroad from different nationalities.

The Egyptian Cabinet announced Thursday that all cafes, commercial centers, sports clubs and nightclubs will be closed from seven in the evening until six in the morning local time, and until March 31, to strengthen measures to contain the spread of the Corona virus.

The decision excludes bakeries, grocery stores, and pharmacies, whether in or outside the mall. This comes after Egypt has already closed schools and universities.
