During a press conference on Tuesday, the Public Health Agency recommends that teaching in secondary schools should not be conducted in the school premises. The Government therefore recommends that all upper secondary schools, colleges, universities and vocational colleges be closed.

The upper secondary schools in Västerås will follow the recommendations from Wednesday.

- We will run education remotely from tomorrow. The students are not unemployed but will work from home. We are prepared for this and all the technology is already in place, says Åsa Lundkvist, director of the Child and Education Administration in Västerås.
