17 March 202021.31 The writer and political activist Eduard Limonov has died in Moscow. He was 77 years old. This was announced by the press office of the "Other Russia" party of which he was leader. Limonov had been hospitalized in October for health problems. Born in Ukraine in 1954, he lived in exile in the USA, from the mid-70s until the collapse of the USSR. Among his best known works "I am Edichka" and "Book of water". In Europe the French writer Emmanuel Carrère had made him known, with the fictional biography "Limonov".
