The decision means that the recreation staff should avoid contact with clients as far as possible.

- Every day in Sweden, the free care system contacts hundreds of clients. We must take our responsibility and do what we can to curb the risk of infection spreading. We are therefore now switching to a largely digital recreation, says Lennart Palmgren, chief of detention, custody and recreation, in a statement.

But that does not mean that the clients' contact obligation ends, but contacts should be made according to plan and then mainly by telephone or for example Skype or Facetime calls.

The community will not visit clients at detention centers, treatment centers, treatment centers or the like. However, specially designated clients may need to visit the outpatient clinic.
