It is noted that quarantine takes effect from 12:00 local time on March 18 and will last until April 5.
The population is required to stay at home. It is allowed to go if necessary only to grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and post offices.
It is specified that the police will monitor the implementation of quarantine rules.
Earlier it was reported that because of the coronavirus, the authorities of Kazakhstan impose quarantine in the largest cities of the country - Nur-Sultan and Alma-Ata.
