There are already more than a thousand military personnel deployed by various Spanish provinces within the plan of the Ministry of Defense to participate in health actions in the fight against the coronavirus.

During the day, as explained by the Department of Margarita Robles, the number of soldiers and their areas of influence will expand. In fact, the presence of military emergency units is not ruled out, neither in Catalonia nor in the Basque Country, communities where their presidents have been critical of the state of Alarm decreed by the Government.

According to the breakdown provided by Defense, 123 troops are already deployed in Madrid, while in other municipalities of the city such as Getafe, Pozuelos, Majadahonda, Parla, another 116 are participating.

In Guadalajara, 35 troops have been deployed, working both at the AVE station and in other parts of the city.

Seville deployed 110 military personnel and in Malaga another 110. In the Hipalese capital, yesterday, they set up their actions at the Santa Justa station, where they have arranged the bulk of the troops destined for Seville.

In Gran Canarias and Tenerife 38 in each of them.

In Valencia there are 110 deployed soldiers who are working in the capital, Puerto de Sagunto, Torrente and Paterna.

La Rioja is one of the new communities to which military units have been displaced. Specifically, 70 UME troops have been deployed. La Rioja is one of the areas most affected by the coronavirus.

The UME has also arrived in Aragon: in Huesca, Sabiñanigo and Jaca they already have 33 military personnel and in Teruel 73.

43 soldiers work in León, 103 in Valladolid and 98 in Burgos

In total, there are more than 1,000 military personnel deployed in the National Territory so far
