On Thursday, Sudan decided to close its land borders with Egypt and suspend flights with it and six other countries affected by the new Corona virus and prevent the citizens of these countries from entering its lands, in an effort to prevent the epidemic from entering its lands.

The government said in a statement that the Council of Ministers decided to "close the land crossings adjacent to the Arab Republic of Egypt" and "prevent entry and suspension of entry visas for foreigners from the affected countries in which the local transfer was established among society, namely, South Korea, China, Italy, Iran, Spain, Japan and the Arab Republic of Egypt".

He added that the council also decided to suspend flights with these countries, calling on the Sudanese to avoid traveling to them.

The statement also called on citizens in all parts of the country to avoid large gatherings.

Sudan has not reported any new infection with the Corona virus so far.
