Jim Adams came to Malmö to be tattooed - had to throw himself on the plane home

- I booked time with the tattoo artist in Malmö a year ago, says American Jim Adams.

He came to Malmö after saving money for the Malmö visit for a very long time. The tattoo would take a few days to complete and Jim Adams had planned to stay in town until after the weekend.

But the night came that the US was canceling all journeys from Europe as a result of the current outbreak of virus.

- So now I have to go today, otherwise I'll be stuck here for 30 days and I don't have the money for that, says Jim Adams.

He had to buy an emergency ticket home for close to 2,000 US dollars (equivalent to almost 19,000 SEK) and he has lost a lot of money on canceled hotels.

In addition, the tattoo could not be finished.

- I'm not very happy right now. I have to come back another time to finish it, he says.
