Corona ... China "accuses" America of spreading the disease in Wuhan and Khamenei talking about a biological attack

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Li Jian said that the US military may have brought the Corona virus to the Chinese city of Wuhan where the disease first appeared, while Iranian guide Ali Khamenei said that there are indications that reinforce the hypothesis of a biological attack by the virus.

A ministry spokesman asked in a tweet in English on his Twitter account, about the date of the first incidence of corona disease in the United States, the number of patients infected, and the names of the hospitals where they were detained, calling on Washington to be transparent and announce the data, considering that it is a city of China with an interpretation.

The director of the Al-Jazeera office in Beijing, Nasser Abdel Haq, explained that Zhao's tweet about the potential role of the US military in bringing Corona to Wuhan while participating in the military sports course in the Chinese city before the disease appeared, does not mean that America launched a biological attack on China.

Abdel Haq added that Zhao sought, from his tweet, to say that China may not be the origin of the Corona virus.

War of words
Abdel-Haq added that the Chinese official's tweet came in response to a statement issued Wednesday by US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien, in which he said that the late response of the Chinese authorities to the spread of the virus may have cost the world two months of time, before starting taking the necessary measures to fight the disease.

In a related context, the Iranian guide said that there are indications and evidence that reinforce the hypothesis of a biological attack by the Corona virus.

Khamenei added that the Iranian armed forces could increase their readiness to confront biological attacks through an experiment to combat the epidemic, ordering them to establish a medical center to combat the virus.

In a letter to the Chairman of the General Authority of the Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Iranian Guide announced that it is necessary for this center to establish mobile hospitals and centers to care for patients infected with the virus and limit its spread.

Khamenei stressed that the armed forces should carry out their duties in full coordination with the Iranian government, including the Ministry of Health.

It is worth noting that the virus has killed and infected many official, political and religious figures in Iran, as local media reported on Thursday that Ali Akbar Velayati, counselor of the Iranian guide, was infected with the virus and quarantined. He is a doctor and director of a hospital dedicated to treating the virus infected.

Prior to this, two Vice-President Hassan Rouhani, Isaac Jahangiri and Masooma Ibtikar, were infected with the virus, as well as ministers and parliamentarians.
