Dubai Health Authority stated that it started providing free consultations to citizens and residents about the new Corona virus, around the clock, seven days a week, so that anyone can book an appointment with the doctor, within a maximum of 30 minutes, and obtain the necessary medical advice.
And «Emirates Today» contacted the toll-free number, which was set by the authority to obtain the service (800342), and the authority’s employee confirmed that an appointment is being made to communicate with the doctor, to obtain medical consultations, within a maximum of 30 minutes, for non-emergency cases.
The Health Authority in Dubai had launched, at the end of last year, a “doctor for every citizen” project, which provides direct voice and video communication between customers and doctors with the latest smart means, through a remote working center, and around the clock, it manages the set of services, including Providing medical consultations through a group of professional and trained medical competencies.
She emphasized that the "Doctor for Every Citizen" project is one of the most important integrated projects that enjoy direct government sponsorship, in addition to its adoption of the latest smart technologies, and its uniqueness in the quality and efficiency of the doctors in implementation, who represent the government and private sectors.
The authority clarified that it worked to employ all smart technologies and means in the preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic areas, as well as in the management of data, information and medical reports, according to the highest levels of accuracy and privacy, which directly serves the goal.

The Dubai Health Authority confirmed that the services for the "Doctor for Every Citizen" project, which it provided, do not include medical emergencies or a clinical examination.
She explained that the service provides medical consultations around the clock, mainly based on the unified medical file (Salama), which includes the health history of each disease, which makes it easier for the doctor to deal quickly and carefully with each case, in a framework of privacy and complete trust.
