Dubai Health Authority confirmed the continuation of its efforts to provide all precautionary and preventive measures to protect society from the new Corona virus, which it started from early with the first appearance in China, and included the implementation of a preventive plan, with the activation of a set of practical and educational programs aimed at developing Community awareness of the virus, its transmission, and how to prevent it, in order to provide the highest levels of safety for the community and ensure the health of its members.
The Director of the Department of Public Health Protection at the Authority, Dr. Badria Al-Harami, said that there is a robust monitoring system that works continuously without stopping, and is the most efficient and effective in the field of monitoring epidemics and viruses, which increases the capabilities of detecting infected cases with precision, and helps specialized medical teams in Implementation of the tracking process for contacts of infected cases as soon as they exist and upon discovery, in accordance with the highest standards in force globally, and in accordance with the established and recognized protocols in the World Health Organization, and approved in the country.
She also affirmed that all precautionary measures in this regard are carried out in coordination and cooperation between the authority and all relevant authorities and committees concerned with crises and emergencies at the state level, particularly the Ministry of Health and Community Protection.
She pointed out that the Authority, in the framework of its awareness-raising efforts for the specialized medical staff, has issued, in this regard, a guide for all health facilities (government and private) in Dubai, and has implemented training workshops for all workers in these facilities, to ensure the highest levels of readiness and ensure the highest levels of efficiency .
The authority also issued another educational guide that was directed to members of society in all its categories and categories, in a clear and direct language, to ensure that everyone understands its content and what it includes of health advice, as well as a guide for institutions in the Emirate of Dubai, which explains how to spread the correct concepts of the Corona virus and ways to prevent it.
Al-Harami explained that the efforts of the Dubai Health Authority in this aspect extended to raise awareness and introduce methods of prevention in educational institutions (schools and universities). It also issued a clear and detailed guide for school bus sterilization procedures, as well as cleaning and disinfection procedures for public road transport, as these two sectors are important because they include a wide density of users.
She stated that Dubai Health possesses an integrated preventive system, based on its management of specialized medical and technical expertise, equipped with the latest technologies and modern equipment, while pointing to the importance of community members following the preventive procedures and instructions issued by the authority, and from reliable, approved and official health authorities in the state, from Without being affected by any false statements or misleading information.
