The Bolivian Minister of Health, Anibal Cruz, announced today, Wednesday, that he infected the first two cases of Corona virus in his country, making it the thirteenth country in Latin America to reach the deadly disease.

The minister said at a press conference that the two cases are women between the ages of 60 and 64 who recently traveled to Italy, adding that they were isolated in the cities of Oruro and Santa Cruz.

This news comes after the Ministry of Health in Panama confirmed that eight people on its soil had been infected with the virus, and that a person - 64 years old - who was already suffering from diabetes and pneumonia - had died of a coronary infection.
