Threats of lethal violence, threats of rape and sexual harassment can be found in the deviation reports written by the nurses, doctors or other staff who are exposed.

Even blows to the head, kicks to the stomach and throttle grip appear in several reports.

Most deviations have been written from psychiatry - a total of 124 out of 234. The area head of psychiatry, Karin Haster, is not surprised by the figures but takes a serious look at the statistics.

- It is clear that we take a serious look at our employees being affected by threats and violence in their work. They also deserve a good working environment.

- The fact that there are many threatening situations with us is also because we care for many who do not want to be here and who are affected by diagnoses or otherwise.

Urgent believes that the threats and violence against staff must decrease in the future.

- This is our top priority. We want the working environment to be better and that we can prevent threatening situations before they arise.
