A man received several stab wounds Monday evening around 8:30 p.m. near the Charles-de-Gaulle metro station, in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). The 35-year-old victim was stabbed with a knife. When the firefighters arrived, she presented several wounds, one of which was worrying at the level of the carotid artery, said the emergency services. Alerted by passers-by, the firefighters arrived on site in a few minutes and were able to take charge of the man quickly. He was transported to the CHU Pontchaillou by an ambulance from SMUR.

The police also went to the scene to try to shed light on the case. According to our information, the stab wounds were carried out during a brawl between several men. An investigation was opened by police.
