At 18:00 local time on March 10th, Angelo Borelli, the head of the Italian Civil Defense Department and Commissioner of the New Crown Virus Emergency Committee, said at a routine epidemic news conference that there were 8,514 cases of New Crown pneumonia in Italy, including severe illness. There were 877 cases; a total of 1,004 people were cured; 168 new deaths were reported, and a total of 631 people died.
