The Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex has started installing chargers for electric vehicles throughout the complex, to be used free of charge by investors and employees.

This comes within the strategy of sustainability in the natural resources pursued by the complex, with the aim of encouraging the acquisition of this type of sustainable transportation, represented by hybrid and electric cars, which contributes to reducing harmful carbon emissions, and supporting sustainable transportation, within the efforts made by the complex to keep abreast of the latest technologies used Globally in transportation, and the updates to these industries to reduce combustion processes, there are no CO2 or nitrogen oxide emissions while driving.

The CEO of the complex, Hussein Al Mahmoudi, stressed that Sharjah has made great strides in the field of sustainability, as the complex is committed through the initiative to encourage the use of sustainable transportation.

He explained that the complex adopted the latest international technologies applied in car charging systems in a safe and easy way, noting that it is expected to increase their use, as they contribute to improving the environment.
