The Public Prosecution in Dubai referred a 27-year-old Arab woman to the criminal court on charges of drug use and promotion, after seizing it after handing a sample of hashish drug to a member of the Dubai Police, as a prelude to selling it to him, and later admitted that she was promoting drugs through social networks for her need To pay her rent.

A witness from the General Department of Narcotics Control in Dubai Police said that reliable information was received by the Department stating that there was a woman who used narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and possessed a quantity of them with the intention of promoting them to the drug users in exchange for financial sums.

After research and investigation, the information was verified, and a policeman was assigned to disguise and communicate with the woman as a customer, and asked her to buy a quantity of drugs through a social networking application, and I told him that she had cannabis, and they agreed to complete the handover process near a hotel.

On the agreed date, the policeman arrived in a civilian patrol, and the suspect was installed with him, and he gave him a sample of the hashish drug that he was promoting, then he sent a signal stating the completion of the handover and receipt process, so the car was raided and the suspect was arrested, and by asking her she stated that she was selling drugs because she needed money to pay the rent of her residence .
