Leicester, which has been idling for a month, has returned to success by sinking the penultimate Aston Villa 4-0 thanks to a double from Jamie Vardy on Monday at the end of the 29th day of the Premier League.

The same Barnes obtained the penalty from the break (63) when the defender of Villa Tyrone Mings countered with the hand his center for Jamie Vardy.

Just entered the game, the English international transformed the penalty into strength. And even signed a double heavy strike at the far post (79th): the 19th accomplishment of Vardy, top scorer in the Premier League this season ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (17 goals).

In the process, Barnes, served behind the penalty spot by his right midfielder Marc Albrighton, finished pushing Aston Villa (85th).

Eight days after its lost League Cup final against Manchester City (2-1), the Birmingham club has a fourth defeat in the league and is two points behind the first non-relegation.
