A crane has extracted tonight from the river Urumea , in Hernani (Guipúzcoa) , the vehicle that has precipitated during the early morning to the waters from a hillside. Inside they have been found the lifeless bodies of the three people who traveled inside - two men and one woman - and who had not been able to leave.
The search has begun this midnight, after after 00.30 hours a vehicle that circulated in the Osinaga neighborhood of Hernani, has rushed down a slope to the Urumea River, as reported by Ertzaintza.
In the vehicle, a Citroen Berlingo, a total of five people were traveling, two of whom - both 59 years of age and neighbors of Zuia and San Sebastián - have been able to leave on their own.
Emergency services have since been deployed to the site to locate the other three missing. This is a 59-year-old woman from Zuia, and two men, 56 and 58, and residents of San Sebastián and Zarautz, respectively.
In the area have been working throughout the day effective firefighters, Red Cross and resources of the mountain rescue and diving Ertzaintza, as well as a helicopter of the Basque Police. About 4:45 p.m., Ertzaintza divers have located the vehicle and work has been done to extract it from the water.
