Italy, the European country most affected by the emerging coronavirus, has counted 133 new deaths in 24 hours, raising to 366 the total death toll since the virus began spreading, according to official figures Sunday.

The number of injured reached 7,375, an increase of 1492 injuries from Saturday. The quarantined Lombardy remains the worst affected, with 4,189 injuries and 267 deaths.

The number of cases jumped 25 percent. Italy is the most affected by the virus in Europe.
