Al Shaiba, who is dispatched to study through Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), finds in his graduation project from «Chemical and Energy Engineering» an important addition to crowning his scientific career and paving the way towards practical life, as his project is classified under the heading of sustainability, and is in line with the efforts of ADNOC to Highlighting these projects, in light of the company's commitment to achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Total Sustainability by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, including carbon dioxide by 25%, according to the statement of the Minister of State and CEO of ADNOC and its group of companies, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Jaber, at the conference The International Carbon Capture, Use and Storage in Riyadh (iCCUS 2020), which was launched recently.

Al-Shaybah explained that “the idea of ​​the graduation project revolves around capturing carbon and storing it for a gas-generating station, so I worked on an integrated design for the carbon dioxide capture station from the gas station to generate energy and prevent its emission to the atmosphere, including chemical equations, equipment, presses and coolers to produce energy".

Shaybah attributes the reason for choosing "chemical and energy engineering" as a major in the undergraduate level, due to his passion for scientific subjects, especially mathematics and chemistry since childhood, where he enjoyed scientific experiments that require accurate observation, and contribute to the development of analytical thinking and conclusion skills, continuing "during my university studies For this specialization and deepening in it, in addition to the experiences of summer training in the state during the past three years, I realized the state's need for national cadres in this field, which is based on scientific foundations and rules ».

He added that during the training periods he realized the importance of studying energy as a "sub specialization", in addition to the major specialization in "chemical engineering", especially in light of the clear interest the state attaches to this specialization and the transition to clean energy sector towards achieving a sustainable future for generations.

On the experience of alienation, al-Shaybah said that it is a rich experience full of challenges and beautiful memories, and a wonderful opportunity to exchange cultures and experiences, learn about beautiful diversity, enhance the value of tolerance and accept the other, adding that it “passed quickly, and I find my last year in it the most difficult years of alienation, as I used to spend times Fun and useful with my friends of different nationalities in exile.
