According to the police, two elderly people in Jönköping have been called by a person with a protected number. The caller claims that he is from the bank's security department and tells that the elderly person has lost about SEK 100,000.
To get the money back, the person offers to come home to the elderly and help.
"It is unclear if the person brought something with them," says Daniel Wangler of the Jönköpings police.
The police suspect that they either want to access the bank ID, other banking information or steal things in the home.
