This is stated in a letter to trump, which was read at the UN by US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Ford.
“I will offer a bold new initiative on trilateral arms control with Russia and China to help avoid an expensive arms race,” RIA Novosti quoted the letter as saying.
Ford also said that Washington is pleased with the negotiations with Moscow regarding strategic stability that took place in January in Geneva.
The US State Department reported that delegations discussed the possibility of moving beyond the bilateral format on arms control.
