Fredric Jonsson is emergency preparedness director at the County Administrative Board in Jönköping County and in the clip you hear him tell us what the county residents can do to prepare for a possible spread of the corona virus.

The crisis management council, which was assembled today, consists of the leaders from all the county's municipalities, the County Administrative Board of Jönköping County, the Jönköping County Region, the Police, SOS Alarm, the Swedish Armed Forces and others.

Reports on the spread of the coronavirus are tight enough and with it, the concern has also increased. Every other person feels a great concern that the corona virus will spread in Sweden, according to a study by Novus. Three out of ten feel great concern for themselves.

Three cases in the county

In Jönköping County there are three people who have been found to be infected by the coronavirus.

Sweden's very first case was discovered in the Jönköping Region on January 31. It is a 20-year-old woman who has visited the city of Wuhan in China, from where the virus first began to spread. She was found to be infected with the virus a week after she landed in Sweden. A little over a month later, she is considered to be clinically healthy and is thus the first Swedish patient to also recover after being infected by the virus.

Two other corona cases in the county were found on February 28 and March 3, respectively, but they have no connection to the first case. It is a man and a woman, both in their 50s, who have been traveling in Italy together.
