The UN praised the agreement between Putin and Erdogan on Idlib

“The Secretary General hopes that this agreement will lead to an immediate and long-term cessation of hostilities, which will protect civilians in northwestern Syria,” said Dujarric.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, following talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Moscow, announced the approval of a settlement document in Idlib.
