The Ministry of Education has announced that students will resume official working hours in schools from April 5, noting that appropriate measures have been taken to preserve public health and safety.

The Ministry obliged state schools in the country not to have any students in their buildings for a period of four weeks, from March 8 to April 4.

This came within a number of controls that include submitting the date of the leave for students and the administrative and educational authority, as the date of the spring leave was submitted to students, to start from next Sunday and continue until March 19 this year (for a period of two weeks), and the administrative and educational authority leave from next Sunday and continue until 12 March (for a week). She noted that the administrative and educational body will be committed to attending direct specialist training, starting from March 15th until 19th of the same month, from nine in the morning until one in the afternoon.

She added that school administrations should monitor the administrative and educational staff's attendance of direct training daily.

She said that the work on the distance education initiative for students will start on March 22 and continue until the evening of the second of April next (for a period of two weeks) according to the school schedule, which is specified from 8:30 in the morning until one thirty in the afternoon, (6 hours per day) provided that the administrative and educational body The official working hours in schools during the application period of the initiative from eight in the morning until two in the afternoon.

School administrations called for work to create a work environment for the distance education initiative for all target groups (students, teachers, and parents), and to provide the necessary support. She emphasized that students will resume official working hours in schools from the fifth of next April.

She stressed the need to adhere to the instructions of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection regarding the need to avoid travel, given the current situation of the new Corona virus, and its spread in several countries.
