“The government commission to increase the sustainability of the Russian economy has been formed to coordinate the activities of executive bodies and interact with representatives of scientific and public organizations, the business community,” the Cabinet’s website said in a statement.

It is specified that the interaction is aimed at "increasing the sustainability of the development of the financial sector and individual sectors of the economy."

According to the decree, the commission will be headed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrei Belousov.

Earlier, the Russian government approved the staff number of the Cabinet of Ministers and the distribution of responsibilities between 12 deputy heads.
