The president also announced the need to prevent new attempts to build up the situation in Russia.
“It’s not enough for us to simply draw a line at a certain stage in the development of our country, we need guarantees that it will not be possible to roll back in the direction we don’t want to go back, that new attempts to rock the country are unacceptable,” Putin said.
Earlier, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that the lower house of parliament received presidential amendments to the bill to amend the Constitution, set out on 24 pages.
