Former President François Hollande quipped Thursday evening in front of students on LREM, which according to him will not get good scores in the municipal elections, and on the Insubmitted Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who would have no "ideas".

"It would surprise me that the En Marche candidates make very high scores and conquer cities" in the municipal elections, said Mr. Hollande, in front of the large packed amphitheater of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

Asked about a possible campaign slogan for LREM in Paris, he chose "Change is not for now '", slogan opposite to that of his victorious 2012 presidential campaign, "Change is now" .

"Jean-Luc Mélenchon is a talented man but it is not because we have talent that we have ideas", he also affirmed about the leader of France rebellious, adding: "He militate for a 6th Republic and a Constituent Assembly but I did not see in its movement (LFI) an elaborate form of democracy ".

He hoped that Mr. Mélenchon, long member of the Socialist Party and former minister of Lionel Jospin (delegate for Vocational Education), before leaving the PS in 2008, "return to the left, not necessarily to the Socialist Party, I will not not until then, "he quipped.

According to him, "the greatest urgency is to reconstitute a central force", which "exceeds" the socialist party and "around which the rally and the union will take place". "This is my message," he said.

"All the parties deserve to be revitalized, there is an absolute necessity that we find the vitality of the political parties", launched the former president PS to the students.
