Paris SG returned to their six-point margin over Nantes at the head of the French Handball Championship by sweeping Nîmes, third in the standings, 39 to 29, Thursday at Coubertin.
The Parisians, still undefeated (17 wins, 1 draw), are more than ever on the royal road for a sixth straight title when there are only eight games left to play.
This result is also a good deal for the Nantes residents, whose ambition is no longer to catch up with the unattainable PSG but to maintain themselves in second place, qualifying for the Champions League.
Winners of Saint-Raphaël on Wednesday, they are now three points ahead of the Gardois.
