Hamdan bin Mohammed amends the provisions of the decision to regulate parking of vehicles in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, issued Council Resolution No. 11 of 2020 to amend some provisions of Executive Council Resolution No. 5 of 2016 regarding the regulation of parking spaces in the Emirate of Dubai.

The decision stipulated the amendment of the text of Article 7 of Executive Council Resolution No. 5 of 2016 regarding the regulation of parking spaces in the Emirate of Dubai, which included a new text regulating participation in public parking spaces, which are positions supervised by the Roads and Transport Authority, to park vehicles in The emirate, which includes side parking on the campus, parking lots, and parking for multi-storey buildings, where the Traffic and Roads Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai applies the monthly or annual subscription system to use public parking, and the types, conditions and procedures for this subscription are determined by a decision issued by a manager General Authority and Chairman of M. Board of Directors in this regard, and is determined by the amount of monthly subscription fee or annual use of public attitudes depending on the type of general position, and in accordance with the schedule attached to this decision.

The Traffic and Roads Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai shall hand over to the participant in the public parking a subscription card, according to the type of subscription and its duration, and the institution may replace this card by any other means it deems appropriate. Students of educational institutions and educational staff in private educational institutions, in participation in the public positions surrounding the educational institution, for the fee determined in the table attached to this decision.

The decision also stipulated that the table attached to the new resolution replace Table No. 3 attached to Executive Council Resolution No. 5 of 2016 regarding the regulation of vehicle parking in the Emirate of Dubai.

Entry Fee

Side parking: AED 1,400 for three months, 2,500 dirhams for six months, and 4,500 dirhams for one year.

■ Parking spaces 700 dirhams for three months, 1300 for six months, and 2,400 dirhams for a year.

■ Multi-storey parking 2000 dirham for three months, 4000 dirhams for six months, and 8,000 dirhams for one year.

Student parking 300 dirhams for three months, 600 dirhams for six months, and 1200 dirhams for a year.

■ The educational staff for private educational institutions is 300 dirhams for three months, 600 dirhams for six months, and 1200 dirhams for one year.
