The emir of Dubai, Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktum , kidnapped and held two of his daughters captive between 2000 and 2018 and promoted a campaign of "fear and intimidation" against his sixth wife , Princess Haya Bint Al Husein of Jordan, has concluded a British court in an opinion released this Thursday.

The Sheikh, who last November wanted to withdraw his request for contact with children to stop the evidence against him - which was denied - urged the press to respect privacy and not "meddle" in life of his children in the United Kingdom.
The opinion issued today is at least a blow to the reputation of the powerful emir of Dubai, owner of Godolphin Stables, stables of reference in the equestrian world, and that maintains relations with the global elite, including the British royal family.
