The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments stated that the work teams that formed it in all its branches at the level of the emirates of the country began yesterday from the day before yesterday to activate the "healthy and safe environment" system inside the mosques and their facilities, and the Holy Quran memorization centers and their buildings, in coordination with the Ministry of Health And society protection, stressing that the teams carry out continuous sterilization operations for mosques throughout the country, including all its contents and facilities.

The authority stated that sterilization operations include brushes, shelves, and books, in addition to replacing the brushes of some mosques in crowded places and street mosques with a new one that is easy to sterilize and clean, stressing that it began deploying sterilization devices on the doors of mosques.

The commission identified five guidelines that called on worshipers in mosques to abide by them before, during and after congregational prayer, including washing hands with soap and water before and after prayer, avoiding handshaking with a hand and making a salutary greeting, not peace in the nose, avoiding hugs and kissing others, covering the nose and mouth when sneezing inside the elbow or Using a handkerchief instead of a hand.

She pointed out that she deals with the repercussions of the Corona virus in relation to protecting places of worship, through organizing lectures and educational workshops to educate imams, mosque supervisors and officials of the need to adhere to take the necessary precautions to prevent any infectious diseases, by intensifying hygiene operations, and not tolerating any deficiencies in that matter.

She pointed out that she was directed to intensify the programs available on the smart platform that allows the public to communicate remotely with the Holy Quran memorizers in virtual classes through their smart devices and computers. It also intensified awareness on its social media, and through the smart preaching system and interactive platforms frequented by the public.

The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments stated that it had allocated the Friday sermon scheduled for today to talk about the prevention of diseases, under the title "Prevention is better than cure", which indicates that if a person suffers from something infectious diseases, he should avoid contact with others in order to preserve their health, and in the interest of For their safety, and to protect them from harm, in fulfillment of the saying of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “No nurse is given a clinic.”

According to the sermon, personal precautions must include not going to public places, including mosques, when feeling symptoms of heat in the body, a cold, coughing or sneezing.

According to the sermon, one maintains the safety of others by adhering to the sneeze of the guidance of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, because he had to pray and peace if he sneezed, covering his face with his hand or his robe, because all of this prevents the spread of diseases.

The authority issued, yesterday, yesterday, an official circular to mosque preachers in various emirates of the state, stressing that the Friday sermon and prayer should not exceed 10 minutes.
