Research shows that coronavirus infection-19 (corona 19) can damage the patient's central nervous system.

According to China's economic media Chasin, Liu Jingyuan, director of the intensive care unit at Beijing Ditan Hospital, affiliated with the Chinese Medical University, found the corona 19 virus in the cerebrospinal fluid of a 56-year-old patient.

This shows that Corona 19 can invade the patient's central nervous system, like SARS or Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).

This is the first time that there has been evidence that corona 19 can damage the central nervous system.

Liu Jingyuan said that if the patient suddenly suffers from consciousness, he or she should promptly perform cerebrospinal fluid-related tests, noting that the Corona 19 virus may have attacked the central nervous system.

He says proactively coping with nervous system complications can lower the mortality rate of patients with stomach injuries.

Beijing Ditan Hospital conducted a gene sequence analysis of cerebrospinal fluid after a 56-year-old Corona 19 patient showed nervous system symptoms such as cramps around the mouth and persistent burping.

This confirmed the presence of the Corona 19 virus in cerebrospinal fluid and was diagnosed with viral encephalitis.

The patient was discharged after being cured on the 25th. Earlier researchers at Huazhong University Medical University published a paper that Corona 19 could affect the patient's nervous system.

According to the paper, more than 30% of the 214 patients studied had nervous system symptoms.

The seventh edition of the Corona 19 treatment plan announced by the National Health and Human Health Commission of China also included autopsy results of patients who died of Corona 19, which included corona 19, which could damage parts of the body, including brain tissue.
