The César des Lycéens 2020 was awarded to "Hors Norms", a feature film by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache that talks about the daily life of associations helping young autistic people, the Ministry of Education and the Academy announced on Wednesday Caesar.

Under the supervision of a bailiff, this special price was awarded by an electoral body of 1,743 students of Terminale from 81 classes of general, technological and professional high schools, in France, England and Mayotte.

These high school students watched with their referent teacher the seven works nominated for the César for best film including "La Belle Epoque" by Nicolas Bedos, "Grâce à Dieu" by François Ozon, "J'Accuse" by Roman Polanski and "Les Miserables "by Ladj Ly who will represent France at the Oscars.

Named for 8 César, "Hors Normes" left empty-handed from the 45th César ceremony marked by the controversy surrounding Roman Polanski.

The awarding of the César des Lycéens 2020 will take place in the Grand amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne, on March 11, during a panel discussion with the high school students and the film crew.

After "Untouchables" and "Le sens de la fête", Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache unveiled "Hors Norms" with Vincent Cassel, at the end of the last Cannes Festival.

Inspired by real facts, "Hors Norms" tells the story of Bruno and Malik involved in associations taking care of autistic adolescents and training young people from the neighborhoods to supervise these ultra-complex cases.
