Nantes consolidated its second place in the French Handball Championship by winning Wednesday at Saint-Raphaël, 33 to 29.

The Nantes are provisionally three points ahead of Nîmes, who will travel Thursday to the inaccessible leader, Paris SG. The defending champion will try to recover his six point mattress.

A week after having defeated the Parisians in Loire-Atlantique, the "H" made the difference in the second half thanks to a rise in goalkeeper Cyril Dumoulin (9 stops in total), after a hesitant start (-2) at the break.

The Nantes based on Olivier Nyokas (6 goals) until the exit of the international back, touched the knee (a priori without gravity), then on the pivot Nicolas Tournat (8 goals). Raphaël Caucheteux was the top Var striker with 9 goals.

Montpellier continued its recovery by sweeping Tremblay 36 to 25 with 8 goals from winger Hugo Descat and 7 from back Valentin Porte.

The Montpellier (4th) distance Toulouse, whose slowdown was confirmed by a second consecutive defeat, in a poorly classified, Ivry, 36 to 29. The Ivorian semi-center Benjamin Bataille scored no less than 14 goals (including only 2 penalties) ).

The Créteil red lantern has boosted its chances of maintenance by winning at Chartres 30 to 29 and now shares the last place with Tremblay.

Chambéry beat Aix 30-22 with 13 goals from Montenegrin winger Fahrudin Melic and 15 saves from international goalkeeper Yann Genty.
