Shortly after two last night, police received an alarm that a club house in Sköllersta had burned. However, the premises could not be saved, but the rescue service allowed the building to burn to the ground.

Reversed villa

02.17 also received an alarm that a villa was burning. When the rescue service arrived at the scene, the villa was overcrowded and the rescue service has not yet been able to get into the overcrowded villa.

- The last time I heard from the emergency services they were still at the scene and were doing the extinguishing work. Then we will go there and block off for technical investigation, says Olga Korpela, police officer on duty.

By 6.50am, the emergency services were still at the scene of the surveillance of the now extinguished villa.

May be connected

According to Olga Korpela, there may be a connection between the different fires.

- Sköllersta is a small town, so there is a risk that it could be the same person who has lit up, she says.

Both fires are classified by the police as damage by fire.

Car fires in Rinkaby

Even closer to Örebro, it has burned during the night. In Rinkaby, four cars were burned during Monday night, two of which were completely burnt and two sustained injuries.

Earlier, an alarm was also received about a fire in a smaller compost heap on a site in Hallsberg. The rescue service was there and the fire was relatively rapid.
