“By presidential decree of March 2, 2020, Major General of the Internal Service Sergei Zheltov was appointed the head of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia for Moscow,” the statement said.
Since July 3, 2019, Zheltov has been the interim head of the capital's Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies. The head commander Ilya Denisov became deputy minister for emergency situations.
